Hot Docs is a national charitable organization dedicated to celebrating the art of documentary and facilitating opportunities for documentary filmmakers. The organization runs the largest documentary festival in North America, annually showing approximately 200 documentaries from around the world. Hot Docs needed a website and mobile experience as engaging as the artistic work they showcase. AKA’s solution was an upgraded user-centric experience supported by a powerful ticketing system that would allow film lovers to easily discover ongoing shows and events throughout the year.
